Leaving a Legacy of Caring
Legacy is something we think about a lot. When you care for people at the end of life, you learn a great deal about them. You hear cherished stories and see family photos, and through them, get a glimpse of the legacy that person is preparing to leave behind. Sharing in the legacy of those we serve is something we consider to be our great privilege.
We also think a lot about our own legacy. How does our service reflect our values? How we will be remembered after the care has ended? This examining allows us to not only focus on what we do, but why we do it.
Above all, Excel Hospice Care is committed to leaving a legacy of caring. From our interdisciplinary team to our dedicated hospice volunteers, our focus is on caring for the individual, ensuring that their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs are supported during end of life.
